BCAN rebounder review: 102 cm, tested at home

Read the load figures first in this BCAN rebounder review of the 102 cm (40-inch) folding model with 32 springs and an adjustable foam handle. It is a sound home exercise rebounder for users up to 102 kg, the dynamic load in its own gallery; the 150 kg in its title is a static figure.

BCAN rebounder review: three 40-inch spring rebounders side by side

Two other 40-inch (102 cm) spring rebounders with a handle bar make the closest rivals on our list. Rows run by spring count, then by handle reach; the load column copies each listing's own wording, because those figures are not measured the same way.

150 kg or 102 kg: the BCAN rebounder review load check

The title reads 'Max Load 150kg' and the second bullet says the trampoline 'supports up to 330 lbs'. A gallery image from the same listing splits that figure in two: '330LBS Static Support, Stable at Rest' and '225LBS Dynamic Load, Responsive in Motion'.

Static load is weight resting on the mat. Jumping is dynamic, so the figure for a person bouncing is 225 lb, about 102 kg. That is the number this BCAN rebounder review works with, and the one to set against your own weight.

Use the dynamic figure

150 kg is what the frame holds at rest. A user heavier than 102 kg is above the jumping load the seller gives in its own gallery, whatever the title says.

We set it up indoors: BCAN rebounder review notes

We unboxed the BCAN, checked it against the listing and set it up on a hard floor. The seller says it arrives 80% pre-assembled, with a step-by-step installation video, and puts the job at ten minutes; that is its figure, and we add no time of our own.

  • Frame: thickened alloy steel, per the second bullet; the seller describes a 'triple reinforced stability system', upgraded for 2025.
  • Mat: tear-resistant, round and black, with a green edge in the photos.
  • Springs: 32, under the padded edge in the main photo.
  • Handle: a foam-covered bar on two uprights, set with a knob and locked with screws, as a gallery panel shows.
  • Dimensions field: 102 x 102 x 19 cm, which can only be the frame without its handle.

Keep the printed manual: its folding steps and user rules come before anything on the listing.

The title calls it 102 cm and the size field '40-Inch'; 40 inches is 101.6 cm, so those two agree. The load lines are the only figures on the page that pull in different directions.

Handle height: 32 to 42 inches

The handle adjusts between 32 and 42 inches, about 81 to 107 cm, so you can hold the bar 'in the most comfortable position', in the seller's words. A gallery panel shows thickened foam on the grip, an easy-adjust knob and lock screws on the uprights.

Matching the bar to your height

Set the bar where your hands rest with elbows slightly bent while you stand on the mat. Tall users will want the top setting; at 107 cm the BCAN stops lower than the HOMCOM, whose bar reaches 123 cm.

Checking the lock screws

In this BCAN rebounder review the screws are the part we would check most often. Tighten them after every height change, and test the bar with your weight before the first bounce of each session.

Springs, bounce and noise in our BCAN rebounder review

The BCAN uses 32 steel springs rather than bungee cords. The gallery calls it a '25% bouncier spring system' and sets 20 coils of 3.2 mm thickened steel against 16 coils of 1.8 mm on an unnamed rival. Those are the seller's numbers and words.

The seller's spring panel: 20 coils of 3.2 mm steel per spring, against 16 coils of 1.8 mm on another rebounder.

Springs or bungee?

Bungee rebounders use elastic cords instead of springs and run quieter, which matters in a flat. Springs are replaced one at a time; check the length and hook before ordering a spare from our trampoline parts guide.

BCAN rebounder review: room, floor and ceiling

A 102 cm frame needs a clear circle of floor plus space to step off on every side. With the bar at up to 42 inches and a bounce on top of your standing height, check the ceiling before the first session, above all under a sloping loft roof or a light fitting.

  • Floor: flat, hard or low-pile; a thick rug can let the legs shift.
  • Ceiling: your height, plus your jump, plus the 19 cm frame, with room to spare.
  • Neighbours below: steel springs carry noise; a bungee model is the quieter choice.
  • Outdoors: the listing sells it for indoor workouts; for garden play, see our mini trampoline picks.
  • Children: under adult supervision only, following the manual and our trampoline safety advice.

BCAN rebounder review: claims we leave out

The fifth bullet makes a calorie and fat claim for ten minutes of use. We do not repeat health or body-shape claims on this site, from any brand. A rebounder is exercise equipment; what it does for your health is a question for your GP or a physiotherapist.

The first bullet's 'triple reinforced stability system' is also a seller description with no published test behind it on the listing. We judge stability by what can be seen: the frame, the legs and the lock screws on the handle.

Before a new exercise routine

Anyone with joint, back or heart questions should ask a GP or physiotherapist before rebounding. The warnings in the manual apply to every user.

Folding it away

The title calls it a foldable mini trampoline. Fold it once on delivery and measure it before you decide where it lives: a cupboard, under a bed or behind a sofa.

  • Fold only as the manual shows; HOMCOM's listing, for comparison, asks for handle and legs to come off before folding.
  • Keep the handle knob and screws together in a bag between sessions.
  • Check springs and frame joints each time you unfold it.
  • Store it flat and dry, away from radiators.

BCAN rebounder review: upkeep and spare parts

A home rebounder asks for little, but the springs and the handle fixings take the strain of every session. A short routine keeps the frame square and the bar steady.

  • Each week: look along the 32 springs for one that sits longer than its neighbours.
  • After moving or folding: re-tighten the handle knob and lock screws.
  • Each month: wipe the mat and the foam grip with a damp cloth, then let them dry.
  • Spare springs: measure length and hook first; our parts guide covers matching them.

Five mistakes buyers make with this rebounder

  1. Reading '150kg' in the title as a jumping limit: the gallery's dynamic figure is 225 lb, about 102 kg.
  2. Leaving the handle at the factory height: set it between 32 and 42 inches for the user, then lock the screws.
  3. Putting it on a deep-pile rug, where the legs can creep during a session.
  4. Ordering spare springs without measuring one: length and hook decide the fit, not the brand on the mat.
  5. Treating it as a toy for children to use alone: the manual's supervision rules apply to every child.

Each of these comes from the listing itself, either from what it says loudly in the title or from what it shows only in the gallery.

BCAN rebounder review: who should choose it

Good fit

  • Users up to 102 kg, the dynamic load in the gallery
  • Home workouts where a handle bar helps balance
  • Buyers who want most of the assembly done at the factory
  • Rooms with ceiling height to spare

Look elsewhere

  • You weigh more than 102 kg: look for a rebounder whose jumping load, not its static load, covers you
  • You live above neighbours: a bungee rebounder runs quieter
  • You need a taller bar: the HOMCOM handle reaches 123 cm
  • Children want a garden toy: our kids trampoline comparison has models with nets

How we read the BCAN rating

At the time of writing the listing shows 4.4 out of 5 from 9,300 ratings. On a base that large, the average moves slowly and gives a fair picture of delivery, set-up and first months of use.

  • 4.4 sits a little below the 4.6 and 4.7 of the three 10ft garden trampolines we review, a different kind of product altogether.
  • A rating does not tell you whether a user stayed under the 102 kg dynamic load.
  • Our 7.6 weighs the listing too, and its headline weight is where the BCAN loses most.

BCAN rebounder review: the verdict

The BCAN 102 cm earns 7.6 out of 10. Frame, adjustable foam handle and spring build suit home exercise, and the gallery is frank enough to separate static and dynamic load. The title is not: '150kg' invites heavier users onto a rebounder whose jumping figure is 102 kg, and the calorie bullet does the listing no favours.

Frequently asked questions

What is the real weight limit of the BCAN rebounder?

225 lb, about 102 kg, for jumping. The 150 kg (330 lb) in the title is a static figure, for weight at rest, as the listing's own gallery shows.

Is it a spring or a bungee rebounder?

Spring. The listing gives 32 high-strength steel springs; bungee rebounders use elastic cords instead.

How high does the handle go?

42 inches at the top setting and 32 at the lowest, about 81 to 107 cm.

Does it fold?

Yes, the title describes it as foldable. Follow the manual's folding steps and keep the handle hardware together.

Is it quiet enough for a flat?

It is a spring rebounder, so expect more noise than from a bungee model. An exercise mat under the frame helps on hard floors.

Can children use it?

Only under adult supervision and within the manual's rules. It is sold as an adult exercise rebounder, not a children's trampoline.

What does the model code mean?

TX-B6389CU-40-GN is this variant: the 40-inch frame in green, which the colour field also lists as '102cm-Green-U'.
